Sourdough Egg Bites
These delicious sourdough egg bites are so easy to make, healthy and perfect for busy mornings.
Ingredients

cup
active sourdough starter*
6
eggs
1/4
cup
milk (dairy or non-dairy)
2
cups
chopped vegetables (bell pepper, spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, onions, etc.
1
tsp
dried basil
1/2
tsp
onion powder
1/2
tsp
garlic powder
1
tsp
sea salt
1/2
cup
cheese or cooked meat
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the starter, eggs and milk, and whisk until well combined.
Add the chopped vegetables, meat (if using), spices and salt.
Fill an oiled or lined 12 cup muffin tin with the mixture, dividing it evenly in the cups. Top with cheese, if using.
Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
*You can use sourdough discard, but add 1 tsp of baking soda to the mixture.
