Sourdough Protein Waffles

If you're looking for a quick breakfast idea that gives you lots of protein, check out these Sourdough Protein Waffles.

Equipment

  • 1 Waffle iron
  • 1 mixer

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sourdough discard
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 scoops protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons oil avocado or coconut or melted butter
  • 1/4 cup milkĀ  use as needed to thin batter, this depends on how thick/thin your starter is
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a mixer, a blender or whisk by hand.
  • Cook in your waffle iron.
